Canada Date Format

There is no option to set the date in the common Canadian format which is used be most Canadians (English and French) of DD-MM-YYYY.

This is extremely frustrating. Canadians do not use the American format of MM/DD/YYYY. Nor do we use YYYY-MM-DD, which is only used by our federal government for administrative purposes.

The majority of Canadians use the DD-MM-YYYY format.

I do NOT want to have to set my region to the UK to set the date format because then my phone starts loading the UK versions of websites and automatically changes things.

Is there any way to set the date properly without changing my region???

If not could Apple PLEASE fix this?
