Stuttering Tidal using Airport Express.

When I want to play a song in Tidal via Airport Express, the beginning of the song or the first notes of the song are repeated three times. So to speak, a stutter, before the song runs properly error-free. What could be the reason for this?

(BigSur 11.7.1. Airport Express 7.8.1, MacBook Pro)

Quality hi-res lossless audio drops during playback Hello, I play hi-res lossless apple music on mac mini M1. I use a high-speed fiber-optic Internet connection with stable performance. However, I often have a problem, namely, the quality of the played sound suddenly drops drastically, the music continues to play, but changes from full sound to flat, as if much lower quality streaming. Nowhere does it show any information that something has changed, the song just flies on. If I fast forward to the next song, or play the same song from the beginning, the quality is high again, but after some time with subsequent songs the problem repeats. This is terribly annoying and happens quite often. I should add that the problem also occurs on the second device, the MacBook Pro. Sometimes I play music from Apple TV, there I did not notice this problem, but I use it much less often. How to remedy this?

Apple AirPort Express music streaming distortion problem I’ve been using older airport express units (1st gen 802.11n), solely for streaming music, for years on three different stereo systems. I really enjoy the 100% data sound quality without the coding and decoding associated with Bluetooth. Recently, I’ve noticed distortion and poor sound quality that varies from song to song. It’s maddening. It does not exist when streaming podcasts or other sound apps other than Apple Music. I thought maybe Apple Soundcheck was the problem, but I’ve turned that off and on with bo change. The same song sounds perfect in my AirPods or even the phones speaker. It’s only when streaming to the old Airport Express units. Something has changed in the Music streaming data. Anybody know about this?

A quick Google search on the Internet reveals page after page of similar reports of stuttering using Tidal Wave, so if you are only having issues with Tidal Wave, I think you already know where the real issue resides. It's not the AirPort Express.
