Facebook keeps refreshing

This started happening to me too, after I updated Safari on my iMac. Not happening on my iPhone. I have tried clearing both history and cache, has not worked. It's very annoying as you lose your place and cannot read posts. Someone suggested that this was a Facebook issue, however I would think if that were the case it would be happening when I access FB from my phone too. Suspicious to me that it started happening after updating Safari.

I'm having the same thing on my MacBook. Really annoying. Needs a fix soon.

I also tried clearing history.

As of this morning, January 17th, it no longer refreshes constantly. Back to normal. Hope I don't jinx it. I didn't do anything drastic, just deleted my history.

Me too. Tried clearing history and this did not help.

Think it may be part Mac part FB. I've tried it on Firefox, not as bad.as on Safari, but similar updating by itself.

Same thing on my Mac. On a whim, I just tried Firefox and no problems whatsoever. I scrolled and read my Newsfeed for 10 minutes with no disruption.

Yep, it seems to have been sorted for me too!
