Scanner not showing up in options to Scan to Mac, though I can print to the Epson printer-scanner-fax machine

After having trouble getting my Espon printer-scanner-fax machine to not hook up to the Mac, resolve that issue with help from the community.

Now, though the printer is showing up, it will not let me scan from the printer as my Mac does not show up as one of the computer options in the apps in computer options screen.

Any suggestions as to how I can get the Epson printer-scanner-fax machine to recognize my Mac so that I can scan to the Mac?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.1

Hi,WildBillD… have you tried using “Preview” to scan?( or Image Capture?) Epson says it has drivers for your printer-scanner-fax machine up to MacOS 10.15… for MacOS 13, it recommends the Epson iPrint&Scan app available from the App Store… i don’t know the exact model of your Epson printer-scanner-fax machine, so can’t help you a lot… here’s Epson’s page for “all in one printers”( link) https://epson.ca/For-Home/Printers…. Your all in one printer should have a model number on it… type that into the search window there…

As suggested I went to the EPSON website and downloaded the drivers for the Mac. This seems like it has worked and I am now able to scan from the MacBook Pro. Thanks for the directions! And have a great new year!
