Bluetooth wont connect when i restart my macbook air after dying

Every time my computer dies and then I plug it in to turn it on my bluetooth wont connect to anything. I have to restart the computer and then it works again. It doesnt matter what the charge is when i first turn it on after dying this always happens.

For example: My computer dies, I plug it in and leave it for the night. I turn it on in the morning and the battery is 100% but my bluetooth still wont connect until I restart the computer. Conversely, if it dies and i plug it in and turn it on immediately so it is only on 1% i still have to restart the computer before it will connect to bluetooth.

If i try to simply turn the bluetooth off and on again or manually reset it, it will not turn back on until i restart the computer.

My computer is a MacBook Air 13 inch year 2020 and fully updated

Hi 182hhh,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! Is this occurring with a specific Bluetooth accessory? For example, if a Magic accessory the step below may help:

If you can't connect your Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, or Magic Trackpad to your Mac

Magic Mouse has a switch on the bottom of the device, and Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad have a switch on the back edge of the device. Slide the switch to turn off the device (no green is visible), then slide the switch back to turn on the device (green becomes visible).

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.
