*hypothetical* Im cruising along recording audio tracks, decide I want to play some midi. I plug in my M-Audio Oxygen 49 and my macbook Pro tells me it will have to switch audio output to internal speakers. Almost like its recognizing the keyboard as an audio interface.. How can i prevent this from happening?
Figure of speech there yo-yo. Do you think I’d go through the trouble of asking such a specific question if it wasn’t applicable to my current junction? Technically, to the responder, they’re all hypotheticals because they’re internet problems not actually happening to them. Thanks for your help though :)
I think plugging the keyboard in simply causes USB to rescan/reset the USB bus and in that brief second Logic loses connection with the audio interface, after you select OK do you see a very brief/slight flash as Logic resets to your interface?
