Charging an iPad Mini using a MacBook Pro M1 2020 Charger

Hi All!

Is it safe to charge an iPad Mini 6 using a MacBook Pro M1 charger? Both seem to take USB C cables. Any ideas?

It is completely safe. The iPad Mini won't draw more power than it is designed to.
