Restore Purchases

How do I restore an app purchase from an old iPhone to my new one? Suggestions say to go to the app used to purchase the app and look for the "restore purchase" option. I've searched Settings, and the App Store but no luck finding the restore purchase option. Any suggestions how to navigate to that option?

iPhone 12, iOS 16

If you're referring to an in app purchase, we'd recommend reviewing the information in this article: If you can't find or use your in-app purchases - Apple Support

"Restore your in-app purchases

Some in-app purchases, such as game currency or hints, are consumable, which means that they run out as you use them. You can’t restore consumable purchases. Learn about different types of in-app purchases.

You might be able to restore a non-consumable purchase, such as an upgrade to a pro version, an extra feature in a game, or a subscription:

  1. Open the app that you used to buy the item.
  2. Look for an option to restore. You might find it in the app's store, main menu, Settings menu, or Options menu.

If you try to restore and nothing happens or you get an error

Thanks!
