So I got a random message from someone and I think it might have to do with my old phone number being linked to my Apple ID. They sent a screenshot showing they got texts from me when I never messaged them until I started getting their messages

Please contact your Carrier and disable the old SIM if it is not with you or you are not using it.

Add or remove your phone number in Messages or FaceTime
