problem with apple mail notifications not deleting

when I delete an email the message disappears but the notification will not disappear

Mail app icon not showing number of unread emails for gmail account I noticed the mail app icon is only showing number of unread messages for my ICloud acct but isn’t showing number of unread messages for my gmail acct. yes, the badges for gmail under notifications is set to “ON.” It used to show the total number of unread messages between both accounts, but now only is showing unread ICloud messages and nothing from gmail. Again, gmail notifications have badges set to on. What could be wrong, and why is this happening all of a sudden? Thanks.

Mail notification in Notification Center don't go away when email read on Mac 🥹 I receive an email A Mail notification appears in my Notification Center on my iPhone Email is opened/read on Mac Mail notification in Notification Center on iPhone stays there. Instead, the notification should disappear. If I do those exact same steps with Messages (text messages), it works as expected. I'm not sure what causes it to go wrong with Mail... Help 🥹 Thanks 😁🙏

On the 2 Apple Computers running Ventura 13.1.

The Notification in Top Right of screen will slide out and appear briefly and slide back and disappear

How goes the user have their Notification configure for Apple Mail.

Below is how mine are and do not experience this annoyance
