Unable to send voice message / iOS 16.2 / Iphone 8 Plus

A few hours ago, I discovered I am no longer able to send sound voice messages from the message app, getting error "Canot send Audio Messages at this time".

Disabling in Control Center [Select and hold the microphone or vertical lines to disable this feature.], does not improve. I recently upgraded to IOS 16.2.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

If you're unable to send voice messages in Messages, make sure that you have restarted your iPhone, if you haven't already.

Go to:

1.Settings

2.Screen Time, and check for any restrictions for messages

If it continues, contact Apple Support to check into the behavior for a solution.
