iPhone has Activation Lock

Good day I got an email from you stating that “Your request for Find My Device Unlock has been approved.” However, I’m still unable to set up my iPhone with a new Apple ID. Still gives the message that “ iPhone Locked to owner.” What do I do now?

Hello,


You indicate you did indeed put in a request for an activation lock removal. This was approved by Apple but you say it now still requests the old information. Given all you describe I would contact Apple for help with this --> Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support
