Ventura 13.1 - Notifications won't stop

System notifications about some background app will not stop and there is no way to clear in bulk.

The laptop is not usable in this condition.

I need a wizard who knows the guts of the OS and how to kill these messages and make them stop permanently.

Let''s fire of the terminal and let's do some command line kung fu and destroy these notifications!!!!

Who can help?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 11.3

Does the app you installed provide any function you still need? It might not be simple to determine which app that is, though. Once you figure out what app it is that is using a background process, you can uninstall it.

The background process name listed in the Login Items might help identify it, but most likely not.

It also could be something you thought you removed, but didn’t remove it correctly. EtreCheck is good at finding and removing those orphaned bits you left behind. It can also show you what you installed that is running a Launch Agent which is likely what this is.
