Hello! I have a new iPhone 14. The camera is taking blurry close up photos. I had no issues with blurry close ups on my iPhone 12.
Do you have any suggestions for how I can make the photos clearer on my 14?

The iPhone 12 had a different camera system.
The iPhone 14 cannot focus closer than about 8.7” unless you switch to macro mode if you have an iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max.

when I took close up photos with my iPhone 12, I was the same distance away and the photos were clear.
FYI, I’m taking close ups of food for a local magazine.
Perhaps you have the phone too close to your subject? What happens if you back off a bit?
