Siri does not announce notifications in headphones on iOS 16.2

I have never had problems with Siri until iOS 16.2. I am using iPhone 13 pro and AirPods 3rd generation. I updated iOS to 16.2 and now Siri no more announce messages and notifications in my headphones like it used to. I checked all settings. I read everything I found on that topic. Tried a lot of different approaches. Nothing. How to make Siri announce my messages in my AirPods again?

Hello evelina_praskova,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. You mentioned attempting some approaches. If you have not tried yet, let's temporarily turn off Announce Notifications by going to Settings > Notifications > Announce Notifications > Messages. Then, restart your iPhone and turn on Announce Notifications for the Messages app in Settings > Notifications > Announce Notifications > turn on "Announce Notifications" > turn on Messages.

Then test and see if you can hear Announce Messages. Following these steps may help.

Kind regards.
