Is there not a faster way to remove multiple files from appletv

I've got a lot of files, and the one at a time method of deleting them is rather frustrating.

Can't remove video from Apple TV I've a video I want to remove from AppleTV. In this case the video shows on the library screen but doesn't respond in any way when you move the cursor over the image. I can't access any of the options, like "get info" and I can't delete it from the library. So I removed all traces of it from the computer but it still shows on the library screen. I no longer use Apple TV to view video files because the program handles the meta data in a most bizarre fashion. Changing it if you move the file to a new or different library. I had a collection of hundreds of TV Shows converted to Home Video files because I moved them to a new library. In any case, I still use the program to create the files because it does allow one to include the meta data in a useful way. So is there a way to remove the video file from the library? There is no file with that name on my computer.

Prevent downloading "movpkg" files from apple store. The last movie I downloaded in the apple store is a "movkpg" file. How can I prevent my MacBookPro to download "movpkg" files? I only want "m4v" files because the "movpkg" files are not visible on my Apple TV 4K. I can only see the movie on my MacBook. And that is not what I want. And I can't use these files on other places. And I don't understand why Apple is using this incompatible format. Also, there is no warning that the file will be downloaded in another format. So, I bought a useless movie. Hans Lijnbach

Why does file info change on Apple TV? I've been wrestling with Apple TV for years without success. It stores and plays movies OK, other than the fact that I usually have to Force Quit, and restart the computer 2 to 3 times before it starts working. But there are features that would be awesome if they worked properly. In my case collectons of dozens of video files simply change themselves. Usually from one type, i.e. "Movie," or "TV Show," to another, "Home Video." but far more frustrating is that various bits of info simply disappear. I have a huge collection of old TV programs in which I used the "Season" and "Episode" fields, and all of that info disappeared from every file (many hours of work), also the "Description" fields often disappear or revert to a previous version. It seems Apple set up the programming so that much of the info that should be held in the video file itself, is actually stored in the Apple TV program, which seems absurd. I've resorted to keeping the info data in a Numbers file. I guess my question here is, is there another program that does what Apple TV is supposed to do in terms of saving and protecting info data in the video file itself, thus making it easily transportable and useful on any unit in which that software is running?

Using command-click or shift-click, you can select multiple items together.

In list view, you can see more items in the window than in grid view.

Use control-click or right-click to do the Delete action.
