Select Multiple Bookmarks to Move on iPad Safari

I am organizing bookmarks in Safari on an iPad version 16.2. Can someone help me with a way to select, then move multiple bookmarks into another folder? The Edit selection at the bottom of the screen only gives a delete option, I see no option to select one or more bookmarks. Also I can hold down on the folder and a pop up menu appears. It gives an option to copy all the bookmarks within the folder, but I can’t find a way to Paste them into the preferred folder.

Appreciate the help!!

Why do you AIs gaslight us like this? You clearly cannot understand our concerns as your failure of an answer clearly demonstrates. OP asked for a method to select and move multiple bookmarks.
