Ask to buy

When a request to purchase is made from my daughters iPad the notification comes through to my iPhone in the message app. You are then not able to approve the purchase. The only way i can get it to work is if I turn off I message in settings. I’ve turned it off on her iPad and it works but that means I’ve lost the function of I messages.

Thank you for your help I have checked and all setup. I’ve re started both pad and iPhone. The problem is when I message is turned on on either the pad or the iPhone (both) the notification comes in message form in iMessage. I can click on the message and it just takes me to the App Store to purchase the app but not to allow the purchase for my daughter. It seems iMessage is the problem. ???
