Series 3 Watch factory reset, won't update, unable to pair
Watch was paired to my 6s for several years, I recently did a factory reset on my 6s to perform the update from iOS 11.x.x to 15.7.2 (it wouldn't let me update without factory reset). Once that was completed, I tried to update my iWatch and that failed, so I unpaired, then erased and reset the watch. Now when trying to repair with my phone, it refuses to pair without updating. When attempting to update, it will get to the update screen and give a timeframe, but eventually will fail without error. The watch will restart and go back to the first screen asking to pair and the phone will be stuck still trying to update the watch. I've tried restarting both devices several times, I've tried deleting the watch app, I've tried pairing it to another iPhone. Always the same issue - gets to downloading update to the watch and the watch resets and goes back to the original pairing screen.
