That's a great question! When you create a playlist on your iPad, the songs would appear in the order in which they were added. You can change the order of the songs in a playlist using by following the steps listed below. These steps are specific to iOS and iPadOS devices. You can also find additional steps for making a playlists outlined in the following article.
- Open Music > Tap Library > Playlists.
- Tap the playlist you would like to rearrange.
- Tap the (...) icon towards the top-right.
- Tap Sort and choose the desired order or tap Edit.
- If you tap Edit, you'll then want to lightly press and hold the three lines to the right of the song you would like to move elsewhere in the playlist.
- Then drag the song up or down to place the song in a new order.
