Cant seem to work out a way to download files from websites on safari on my iPhone or iPad running on ios 16. Have tried switching VPN off & changing download location from iCloud to iPhone/ iPad.

Yes the download function is not working on Safari on iPhone & iPad. Files are PDF & Microsoft word from hyperlinked text on website.Same works on chrome with the document opening on additional tab from where it can be saved.
