Family install requests appearing in Messages, but no option to approve request - just a link to the App Store. Working fine on computer, just iPhone won't let me respond.

I restarted my phone a couple of times. It was working yesterday, but now I can't seem to get any prompt on the phone to approve family requests to install an app. The only difference is that I'm in my home with a Mac Mini.

The requests appear in Messages, but no option to approve - when I click on the request message I get taken to the App Store as if it's just a link to the app. There's no "get" option like I got previously. The family setup is honestly the worst Apple functionality I've used. It jars with the usual top quality Apple experience.
