How do I “unprotect” Apple Music files so they can be converted to MP3 or WAV

Converting audio files in Apple Music to mp3 I recently bought a pair of Finis Duo headphones for swimming. I want to download my favorite tunes to swim laps too, but I find that most won't convert from Apple's format to MP3. Some of it is music that I loaded to iTunes years ago, before Apple Music. Anyway around this?

MP3 conversion I downloaded a song from Apple Music and cannot convert it to an MP3 file. When I subscribed to Apple Music at no point I was informed I could not convert song files to MP3. I appreciate in advance any help and guidance with this. OCOC

Hi,

You can’t covert music downloaded from your Apple Music subscription.
