Mac book pro 2014 upgrade?

Is it possible to upgrade this macbook pro (mid-2014)?

I have not had system updates available in APP store?

Getting a new Mac book pro means I cannot use Adobe Creative (CS5) I know it is old...but works for me. This Mac is in great working order.

Any help appreciated!!

Please explain how your current Mac ¿which MacOS? is falling short of your expectations. Readers can help you develop an upgrade path that optimized your needs, balanced against the costs of various upgrades.

On careful analysis, some posters find that their best path forward is to continue to use the Mac and MacOS they currently have "until the wheels fall off". New shiny upgrades sometimes just "cost too much" in terms of what needs to be upgraded to "make it go".

I use Adobe CS5 (purchased in 2014) on the Mac book Pro 15 in. mid 2014. It seems I cannot upgrade and only to Big Sur. Using a wacom tablet in photoshop, all USB so would need to convert to thunderbolt. CS5 will not run on this computer, neither will Micro WORD, PPT, XL which I purchased in 2015. Those subscriptons are so over priced now.
