Downloading "Shrek"

Hi I cannot download Shrek from Apple TV on to my son's iPad. I've updated his system software and his apps update automatically. AppleTV allows me to "resume" play of the movie but not download it. I can download other movies. PG movies are enabled in screen time. Please advise!
