I’ve noticed that my iPhone 12 Pro max is loosing battery very quickly all of a sudden.
My phone is two years old now and I have noticed this with previous phones that as soon as they get to two years old the performance and battery life drops off.

people report apple does not change the batteries until they are lower than 80% in health
when I got an iphone6s my mum got my iphone 4 she used that until sho got my dads hand me down iphone6 which she uses now, when I got my current iphone 11 my wife began to use my iphone6s as her work phone, today my iphone 11 battery health has been stable around 81% for around a year
so my experience is not that they have a quick decline

I think you’re missing the point.
I know batteries dont last forever. My point being since my phone turned two years old the battery all of a sudden has got terrible. I feel it’s a bit of a coincidence that as soon as my phone is due to be replaced it starts decreasing in performance. And who would benefit from that??
Since 12 pro max has turned two years old battery is dying very quick
