When my wife gets a new contact it goes on my iphone (which we want), but when I add a new contact it does not go in her phone (which we want also). I have made sure my apple id is set up on her phone in Settings, Contacts, Accounts.

In Contacts do you have more than one List into which you can store contacts? I have both iCloud and Exchange. Only the iCloud list is shared with my wife.
