show timecode in iMovie 10.3.5

I see on the earlier versions you could n the preferences; that option is no longer available.

Please help, this should be easy to find.

Thanks

Stan

I am not running iMovie 10.3.5. In earlier versions there is a timer clock above the timeline that measures in hh:mm:ss. I know of no way to change the display.

You can always create your own timer by taking a video screen recording of the Timer of your iPhone as it is running, and then overlay it onto your iMovie timeline with the Picture in Picture feature. It times to hundredths of a second. You can use the time code clip in numerous projects.
