Greetings TLH1971tlh,

To help troubleshoot an unexpected language appearing in Wallet, test the behavior after restarting your iPhone and after ensuring iOS is updated. Taking these steps can help to clear up unexpected software related issues:

"How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later

  1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

Additionally, ensure you're following the requirements for using a travel card, outlined here: Add a travel card to Apple Wallet - Apple Support

"To pay for public transport using Apple Pay, you need:

To add a new travel card, you need to have an eligible payment card in the Wallet app."

If the issue persists, reach out to Apple Support directly to help investigate the behavior: Contact Apple Support

Kind regards.
