iOS 16 fill verification code from texts above keyboard

Recently got the new SE (2022) and now the feature that allows you to autofill a code sent to your text messages is not working. Previously when a website asks to fill in a text code, the code would appear right above my keyboard so it could be filled with one click. I’ve tried on multiple sites and it will not work on any.

Hoping this is just a glitch and not that the feature was eliminated in iOS 16? this was possibly one of the most useful iOS features

Not sure what additional relevant information could be found in that article. I recognize it doesn’t work for all sites, but it’s not working for sites that it worked for on my previous phone. I will contact Apple Support

Some apps and websites may not support that feature.
