I know my password and Applie ID. I can sign into apple on the web. But when when iCloud on Windows 10 tries to sign in, I get the nonsense popup shown below.
I've tried uninstalling and resinstalling iCloud, restarting my PC, nothing works. So I get an annoying popup message from iCloud every minute or two trying to sign in.
What can I do?

Talked to Apple support yesterday, and they said it was a known problem, and they were working on it, and would notify me when they have a solution. if and when they fix it and I am notified, if they do, I will post the info here.
No, I have not. There aren't many steps to describe; iCloud brings up a login window, I enter my password and that red x pop up appears. Repeat as many times as you want, nothing changes. Eventually I close the window by x'ing out. But it comes back a minute or so later.
i have changed the password but that didn't change anything.
I've been having this problem for the past week and have gone through all the steps - changed passwords, closed everything down, etc. but still not solution. It looks like this problem has been going on for a long time. Apple,what do I do to fix this. It keeps locking up my screen! Thanks.

Same exact problem. One issue that arises is that iCloud drive is not in Windows Explorer.

4 days now and no solution. I guess their tech support is off until after the New Year?

Read this thread. The workaround is spelled out. There is no move by Microsoft to fix this issue with the latest release. It’s been broken since the 4th quarter last year.
It's still a problem. I can't synchronize calendar between outlook and iPhone.
What is the workaround?
