Whenever I send a Memoji in Facebook Messenger it sends as an attachment with white background. I have the latest versions of iOS and Messenger. See picture.

Hello Curlsel,

The first thing we would want to check would be that the Memoji was created correctly. Be sure to follow these steps found at Use Memoji on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support:

How to create your Memoji
1. Open Messages and tap the Compose button Compose message to start a new message. Or go to an existing conversation.
2. Tap the Memoji button Memoji button, then swipe right and tap the New Memoji add new memoji button.
3. Customize the features of your memoji — like skin tone, hairstyle, eyes, and more.
4. Tap Done.

Once it is created, these steps from the same article explain how to use it:

How to use an animated Memoji in FaceTime
1. Make sure that you have a compatible iPhone or iPad Pro.
2. Open FaceTime and make a call.
3. When the call starts, tap the Effects button effects icon.
4. Tap the Memoji that you want to use.
5. Continue your FaceTime call with your customized Memoji. Or tap the Close button  to continue without a Memoji or go back to the FaceTime menu.
6. To change your Memoji or to remove it during a FaceTime call, repeat steps 2-4.

These steps should allow the Memoji to work.

Have a good day.
