Studio Display restore screen of death!

Mac Studio M1 Ultra with Studio Display. mac OS Ventura 13.1. Firmware version 67.1? Not sure what iOS version is on the display. Yesterday I had a power outage. When the power returned my Studio Display showed a display icon with a triangle and an exclamation point inside. URL suggest going to support.apple.com/display/restore to fix. Basically you unplug the power to the display for two minutes, unplug Thunderbolt cable to computer, make sure there are no peripherals connected to display, and then plug everything back in. It tries to download software to no avail.

Consulted with four Mac techies this morning including three Sr. Advisors with no resolution. Now I have to bring in the display to an Apple store for repairs. Who knows how long that will take. Anyone know any other way to update firmware/software to the display or how to resolve this problem?
