Had to delete a user from home and readd them since 16.2 update. Now it’s not working at all, on my phone I can’t remove them at all, says unable to modify users access.

on their phone if they open home, they get the screen in the picture but absolutely no way of doing anything as it just returns to the same screen over and over again

Turn off, and unplug where necessary, all apple devices, all of them, watch TV, HomePods, phones, iPads etc. (including any not connected to your account but part of the home setup)

turn on the main users phone and then try deleting the user.

if that fails, then turn every device back on and give it 5 minutes.

now try deleting the user again. It should now delete.

might need to reboot yours again.

try readding the user and accepting the invitation on the other users device

i think that was about it
