can't use my apple id

I get new used phone, she gets my old phone, 6s+.

How do I get her apple id onto her phone.? My id is in there. We do not have purchases on anything so that solution is not an option. I need complete instructions if you care to help me. I reset the phone but that apparently did not remove my apple id.
