Ask to buy not working in family account
Ask to Buy is not working on family account. My 11 year old attempts to make a purchase the prompt shows the request is coming to me and then I never see it.

"If your Ask to Buy requests are missing
If you miss an Ask to Buy notification, you can find the request in Notification Center on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac. If you still don't see your Ask to Buy requests, check your Family Sharing settings, check which Apple ID you're signed in with, and make sure that you're on a supported device.
Open Notification Center on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Lol - this does NOT work. Here is what did work: changed the name of my iPhone. That’s it. Changed it then poof like magic it worked.
for more detail: I never “named” my phone to start with, it was simply iPhone. So I added my name and there we have a working ask to buy function. Ain’t technology great
