Do the light/macbook have usb ports? I have disks that would need to be installed. I have Office 2011 and it's not supported by MS. I want to install it on new MAC, so wondering about usb ports.

The M1 and M2 MacBook Air and Pro models don't have USB ports -- only USB-C. Yo can use the following adapter: USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple
Also be aware that Office 2011 will not run on a new MacBook Air or Pro (or on any Mac that is running macOS Catalina or later).
Microsoft does not provide free upgrades between major versions of their Office products (unless you subscribe to Microsoft 365) and older versions of Office are not compatible with macOS Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey or Ventura.

Thank you for reply. How about using a Virtual Machine and installing it in that folder?
Virtual machines are not an area where I have enough knowledge to definitely say "No" -- but I've not seen any discussion here of that being an option that works.

You can't install or run Office 2011 on an M series Mac at all.
