corrupt time machine
I had an accident while dragging a file. I was uploading an installer.php file to wordpress, while dragging the file to the folder my mouse bumped the keyboard and evidently dropped the file into the Time Machine disk on my desktop. Everything froze, I could see what happened but couldn't stop whatever was happening. I couldn't forcequit any programs and ultimately shut down the Mac. To see if I caused any damage to the Time Machine disk, I opened Disk Utility and clicked First Aid. First Aid reported that the disk was corrupted and couldn't be repaired, that I should try to back up the disk if possible.
Anyone have any ideas of what I should do now? Should I try to retrieve my backups or erase the disk and start over?
