On Yosemite, iCloud (correct) Password not accepted
on Yosemite iCloud Password not working. When a code is sent to iPhone it can't be entered or it makes no difference. The usual six boxes does not appear.

We understand you're trying to log in with your Apple ID to your Mac, and the steps we've provided below can solve your issue.
The version of macOS you're using isn't built with compatibility for two-factor authentication in mind. What you'll need to do to log in is enter the code that's generated at the end of your password. When you're prompted to allow the login on your trusted device, then on the Mac with Yosemite retype your password but with the authentication code added to the end of it. If your password were 'Example' you would type 'Example123456' to enter the code.
