3rd monitor doesn’t wake up

Hello everybody,

I've got a problem with my Mac Mini Intel 2018 running on the latest OS. There are 3 monitors connected, 1x HDMI and 2x thunderbolt 3 to Displayport. The keyboard and mouse are Bluetooth connected.

When waking up my mac 1 thunderbolt 3 to DP doesn’t wake up and stays black. I tried switching the cables and different thunderbolt ports but the problem stays with 1 monitor not waking up. I’ve seen multiple threads on google search with this kind of problem but they were all only m1 mac mini. The Intel should support 3 monitors and they all work except when waking up.

What could I do to fix this or should I send it back? I really hope someone here could help me with this problem because I bought the Intel and not the m1 because of the 3 monitor support.

Mac mini, macOS 13.0

Hello Pascal1986,

From what you've shared it sounds like all monitors you have work from start up but not when waking up. If this is correct we recommend reviewing your display and energy settings. This user guide can help: Put your Mac to sleep or wake it - Apple Support

If the behavior persists we'd then recommend working directly with the monitor manufacturers. They may be able to provide additional insight.

Regards.
