Difference in Appleid password and Apple website password

I don’t understand when I have a message requesting that I change my password on the Apple.com website immediately. Once completed, a few weeks later the same request came again.

Strange messages make me wary of possible phishing. I have never heard of Apple sending that kind of message.


Scams (e-mail, text messages, and phone calls) are getting very good at closely imitating true Apple communications. Always be cautious. Here are some guidelines:
