Purchases no longer needed

Purchased items from the iTunes Store (as different from subscriptions for streaming services) are permanent. Rented movies disappear automatically once the rental period is over.

You can hide purchases if you want. Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support. You’ll need to do the hiding of movie and TV show purchases on a computer.
