Best practice for powering docked Air M2 to prolong battery life?

My new MacBook Air M2 is also my desktop computer. It can remain at my desk for days before traveling.

What is best practice for powering it to prolong battery life? For example, should it be continuously charged? Should the battery be discharged periodically? Etc.

You can leave the computer plugged in whenever needed or convenient to do so. Leaving the computer plugged in will not damage the computer or the battery. The MacOS manages the power/charging system very well. There is no need for you to micro manage the system.
