My apple music says its no longer linked and won't play

icloud was full, I upgraded to 50gb but I'm having a problem. when I try to play some apple music it says my account is no longer linked.????

We'd like to take a closer look to see how we can help, but we'll need more details to better understand the issue, along with ruling out some possible causes:


  1. While upgrading your iCloud storage is completely separate from your Apple Music subscription, do you recall doing anything else right before this began to occur on your iPad?
  2. Do all songs have this message show, or is it only for specific ones?
  3. Do you have an Apple Music subscription, and if yes, do other devices signed into the same Apple ID for the subscription have the same issue?
  4. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
  5. If you have a compatible iPad model, the latest version is iPadOS 16.1.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.

So if we understand what's happening, your Google device is saying your Apple Music account is no longer linked, but you're seeing that it is. If that's right, unlink the account and set it up again:


Unlink Apple Music from your Nest device

1. On your iPhone, iPad, or Android device, open the Google Home app.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Music.
4. Under Apple Music, tap Unlink. If Apple Music is set as your default music service, select another music service as your default, or select "No default." Then tap Unlink under Apple Music.
