Hi folks,
Across all my devices since they all sync to iCloud, I have a problem with 20+ duplicate files for my voice memo files. This duplication has increased the entire number of voice memos to the point where the app is lethargic to use on all by my M1 laptop.
Does anyone know a way to de-dup the voice memo DB (other than manually removing all of the duplicates)?

Thanks for the reply, Henderson_86. I have thousands of duplicates so I was hoping there was another way besides manual removal to dedupe. I’ve moved on to Voice Record Pro for my mobile recording, but would like to use voice memos again if I can clean up the dupes.

We'd like to help share some information regarding duplicate memos on the Mac. There does not appear to be an article that covers locating and deleting duplicates, so the best method of this looking at Delete a recording on Mac - Apple Support it would seem you will need to delete them individually.
