Disk Image Password Forgotten

Soma time ago, I created a password protected disk image to store sensitive information.

I haven't logged in for a long time, so I forgot my password. I don't have the "time machine" function activate or any other backup, and I need information that I have on the disk.

Is there a way to remove the password from the disk image withour knowing it?

No, but you can try unlimited possible passwords without being locked out.
