Presumably your iPad has a USB-C connector - and was supplied with both a USB-C Power Adapter and USB-C charging cable.


If you need to connect your iPad to a USB Type-A port on a computer, you simple need a certified USB Type-A to USB-C cable. These are readily available from good computer retail stores - and from Apple:


  • mophie USB-A Cable with USB-C Connector (1 m)
