hello i bought my niece an ipad i already went through the steps of recovery and received an email stating that the ipad can be recovered, but I dont want to link it to my info how can i reset the ipad to male it without my information sign in?
When setting up the iPad, do not use your Apple ID. Use your niece's own Apple ID or create one for her if required.

Then you'll need to recover it, or as I said, create a new one for her.

When you recover access to your credentials, you would be well advised to log-in to your AppleID account from a web browser - and verify/update any email addresses and trusted telephone numbers:
