Do I get a notification when my watch is unpaired?

I lost my watch and it's dead now. Will I know if someone has taken it and umpaired it?

The last location is somewhere I might have lost it but the time doesn't match and I've never connected the watch to the WiFi at that location. Could someone have connected it to WiFi hence it updated the location? Or WiFi isn't needed for location update?
