My IPhone 12 Pro has started freezing, slowing down, losing the background to a black screen. I’ve tried shutting down the phone when it does it and it happens again right away.
The phone is approximately 1-1 1/2 yes old, running iOS 16.1.1, storage used is 75GB OF 256GB, Max battery capacity is 88%.
Any suggestions or ideas why?

I’m so frustrated with this phone. I almost switched out my home security system this week thinking that security system was freezing, shutting down, etc, then I tried it on my iPad and there seems to be nothing wrong with it. I could see having these problems with a phone that’s at capacity, battery life low, terrible signal, but none of that is the case.
That’s all been done several times. Still freezing, slowing down and switching to black background and Lock Screen at times.
So is mine. I’ve reset it a number of 10 times, never does anything. All my apps are still, there, the widgets I’ve delete are back, wallpapers changed, Lock Screen changed.
